New Deal with Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport

30.04.2004 Thomson signs a new deal with Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport to offer low fares flights and holidays for 2005

Thomsonfly has announced a second base for low-fares flights at Britain's newest airport, Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield.   Sister company Thomson Holidays will also be operating package holidays from the new airport.

Thomsonfly launched its first low fares flights from Coventry airport in March this year. With almost 200,000 seat sales so far to 11 destinations, including Malaga, Palma, Valencia, Ibiza, Naples, Rome, Pisa, Venice, Jersey, Marseille-Provence, and Nice, the announcement of our new base shows that Thomsonfly is going from strength to strength.   Thomsonfly are planning to fly to a number of destinations including Jersey, Malaga,  Valencia, Palma, Alicante, Ibiza, Barcelona, Nice, Marseille, Rome, Naples, Pisa,  Venice, Prague, Salzburg, Belfast and Amsterdam.  Flights will be available from under £20 and will go on sale before Christmas 2004.  Details of the new routes will be available on the thomsonfly.com.  Register now on the website to be kept up to date on the new destinations.

As well as low cost flights, the new agreement also means that package holiday deals and charter flights with Thomson will be available for the summer 2005 holiday season.  Thomson has confirmed it will offer holidays to Palma, Ibiza, Mahon, Gerona, Alicante, Malaga, Faro, Las Palmas, Tenerife, Naples, Malta, Corfu, Rhodes, Paphos and Venice.   The holidays for summer 2005 went on sale on 29 April through travel agents or by calling Thomson direct on 0870 550 2555 or visiting the website, www.thomson.co.uk.
